Shift Type: Night/Evening shift, 8-hour shifts with start times at 2:00 PM and 3:00 PM; 40 hours per week

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality computed tomography (CT) scans using Siemens equipment in an acute care setting
  • Position patients and ensure their safety, comfort, and cooperation during imaging procedures
  • Administer contrast materials under appropriate protocols and monitor patients for reactions
  • Review and evaluate images for diagnostic quality and make adjustments as needed
  • Document procedures accurately in Cerner and collaborate with the radiology team
  • Adhere to radiation safety standards and infection control protocols

Qualifications

  • Active BLS certification required
  • ARRT certification in CT (ARRT(CT)) and Radiologic Technology (ARRT(R)) required
  • Valid California Radiologic Technologist license
  • Fluoroscopy certification or permit
  • At least 2 years of experience as a CT Technologist

Knowledge & Skills

  • Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health records
  • Strong understanding of imaging protocols, contrast administration, and radiation safety
  • Excellent interpersonal and patient care skills
  • Ability to work evening/night shifts and adapt to a fast-paced acute care environment
