Shift Type: Five 8-hour shifts per week, 40 hours guaranteed; weekends and holidays as needed. Exact start/end times to be determined by the facility. 10/12-hour shifts are not available.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive physical therapy evaluations and treatments for a diverse patient population
• Deliver manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises to support recovery
• Treat patients with post-operative care, joint replacement, back pain, tendonitis, general deconditioning, balance and vertigo issues
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and adjust individualized treatment plans
• Step in to cover inpatient physical therapy needs as required, ensuring seamless patient care

Qualifications

• 2 years of current Physical Therapy experience (new grads will not be considered)
• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program
• Active Massachusetts Physical Therapy license or compact license
• Current American Heart Association BLS certification
• Previous rehabilitation experience required
• Previous travel experience strongly preferred
• Must have own vehicle as the facility is in a small community without public transport
• All requested time off must be submitted at time of application; no more than 5 days of RTO accepted

Education

• Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT)
• Graduate from an accredited school of Physical Therapy

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in manual therapy and therapeutic exercise
• Expertise in post-operative and joint replacement rehabilitation
• Comfortable treating a variety of outpatient diagnoses, including back pain, tendonitis, and balance disorders
• Strong patient evaluation and treatment planning abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly and work flexibly across outpatient and inpatient settings
