Shift Type: 12-hour night shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Triage patients promptly to determine severity and appropriate treatment
• Provide comprehensive emergency nursing care for all ages
• Assess, monitor, and document patient conditions accurately
• Collaborate with physicians, PAs, and the care team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered
• Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Respond confidently in critical situations and maintain a calm environment

Qualifications

• 2+ years of current Emergency Department experience in a hospital setting
• Active Vermont RN license or compact license
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications - all in hand
• Minimum 3 months of travel experience preferred
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Reliable transportation and own vehicle required

• Skilled in urgent care interventions and critical thinking
• Proficient with electronic health records and documentation
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Adaptability to fast-paced, 24/7 environments
• Knowledge of Vermont RN practice standards
