Hours per Week: 35
Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized treatment plans
- Provide evidence-based therapy to improve communication, cognition, and swallowing function
- Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to coordinate patient care
- Document patient progress accurately and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises
- Advocate for patients' communication and swallowing needs in care planning meetings
Qualifications
- Active Maine Speech Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain one
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Experience working with adult or geriatric populations in skilled nursing or rehab settings is a plus
- Current BLS certification preferred
- Ability to pass a background check and comply with facility credentialing requirements
- New graduates welcome to apply if licensed or eligible
