Shift Type: Friday-Saturday, 9:00 PM - 9:30 AM (NOC) plus one additional 12-hour shift; 36 hours guaranteed. Weekend and holiday availability required.

Candidate Pay Rate: $84 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Perform a wide variety of CT and X-Ray procedures, using independent judgment and critical thinking to facilitate accurate diagnoses
• Ensure proper patient care in accordance with departmental and hospital policies, maintaining confidentiality and infection control standards
• Operate and troubleshoot CR, DR, CT, and PACS applications with proficiency
• Perform primary diagnostic Radiology and CT tasks, including IV insertion and contrast injections
• Collaborate with the healthcare team and communicate effectively in written, verbal, and electronic formats
• Participate in ongoing education and maintain required competencies to deliver top-quality care

Qualifications

• 2 years of current CT/X-Ray experience required
• Previous travel experience (at least 6 months) preferred
• Active Massachusetts Radiology License required
• Active American Heart Association BLS certification required
• ARRT certification in CT (CT) and Radiography (R) required
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• Willingness to take on other duties within scope during low census
• Must have a permanent address outside 50 miles of the facility (due to radius rule)
• Reliable personal vehicle required for the assignment
• Commitment to work two holiday blocks and respect RTO limitations

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in diagnostic CT and X-Ray imaging
• Proficient in IV insertion and contrast administration
• Comfortable with PACS, HIS, RIS, CR, and DR systems
• Strong infection control and patient confidentiality practices
• Excellent communication and critical thinking abilities
• Independent judgment and initiative in patient care
