Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and create customized treatment plans to restore mobility and reduce pain
• Implement therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modalities to help patients achieve their goals
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other therapists to deliver coordinated care
• Document patient progress and modify treatment approaches for optimal outcomes
• Empower patients and families with education and home exercise programs for continued success

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist license in Maine (or ability to obtain)
• Graduate from an accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program
• Previous experience in a skilled nursing or rehab setting is a plus
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical reasoning and compassionate patient care skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in physical therapy assessment and treatment techniques
• Knowledge of evidence-based practice and rehab protocols
• Excellent documentation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Patient-centered approach with strong interpersonal skills
