Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate personal care to residents, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and positioning to ensure safety and comfort
• Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff
• Document care provided accurately and in a timely manner
• Support residents with meals and hydration, following individualized dietary plans
• Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients and families

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in New Mexico
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• Minimum 1 year of experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening
• COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of resident care protocols and infection control practices
• Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds and stand for extended shifts
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable personality
• Understanding of HIPAA and resident rights
