Shift Type: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week guaranteed; every other weekend and holidays as needed

Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality emergency nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Respond quickly and calmly to critical situations, using critical thinking and emotional stability
• Triage patients efficiently and manage cardiac room cases as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow unit-specific protocols and policies
• Advocate for patient safety and comfort while providing compassionate care

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts RN license (must be uploaded with profile)
• 2+ years of current Emergency Room experience
• Current American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
• IV Certification preferred
• Meditech Expanse experience highly preferred
• ENPC and CEN preferred
• BSN preferred
• Traveler must have their own vehicle for this assignment

Education

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities in emergency situations
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient and team interactions
• Time management and planning to prioritize care effectively
• Delegating tasks appropriately to support the healthcare team
• Emotional stability to thrive in high-pressure emergency settings
• Experience with ED triage and cardiac room preferred
• Proficiency with Meditech Expanse preferred
