Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour days with flexible start between 6:00 AM and 10:00 AM, 35 guaranteed weekly hours

Roles & Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients with cognitive and/or ADL physical functioning disorders to develop personalized care plans
• Utilize standardized assessments and evidence-based practice to guide clinical interventions
• Provide rehabilitative, skilled, and medically necessary treatment interventions including ADL retraining and therapeutic activities
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments accordingly to maximize outcomes
• Collaborate with patients, families, caregivers, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Supervise and support occupational therapist assistants, rehab aides, and students

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of Occupational Therapy experience (new grads with Level II fieldwork considered)
• Previous Long-Term Care or Rehab experience required
• Active Occupational Therapist license in Texas (or ability to obtain before start)
• NBCOT certification preferred
