Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to pediatric patients
• Assist the surgical team during procedures and ensure patient safety
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to strict infection control practices
• Monitor vital signs and anesthesia recovery as needed
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio
• BLS certification required
• PALS certification preferred for pediatric care
• Prior OR or perioperative nursing experience preferred
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of surgical aseptic technique and sterile processing
• Excellent critical thinking and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment
• Outstanding communication and teamwork abilities
• Skilled in pediatric patient assessment and care
