Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement nursing care for medical-surgical patients
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and compassion
• Monitor patient vitals and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and families on care plans and recovery
• Document patient progress accurately and maintain high-quality standards

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Illinois
• BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
• Med/Surg experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• A caring, patient-centered approach to nursing

Knowledge & Skills

• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient assessment and monitoring
• Electronic health records (EHR) documentation
• Effective communication with patients, families, and staff
• Teamwork and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
