Shift Type: 8-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, 40 hours/week, plus call rotation (1 day/week and every 5th weekend)

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures
• Circulate in the operating room for a variety of surgical specialties including general, GI, OBGYN, ortho, ENT, urology, cataracts, and podiatry
• Monitor patient status throughout surgery and respond to changes in condition
• Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe, efficient procedures
• Provide PACU care, ensuring smooth recovery and patient stability
• Participate in on-call rotation to cover surgical emergencies
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold sterile technique standards

Qualifications

• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license
• Must have circulating and PACU experience
• Experience in General, GI, OBGYN, Ortho, ENT, Urology, Cataracts & Podiatry cases
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications from the American Heart Association
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• Scrub experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong understanding of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Ability to anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedures
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records and surgical checklists
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
• Solid clinical judgment in fast-paced perioperative settings
