Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in an acute care setting
• Assess patient respiratory status and develop individualized care plans
• Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and ventilator support
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes
• Monitor patient responses and document care accurately
• Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments and home care techniques

Qualifications

• Active Missouri Respiratory Therapist license (RRT or CRT)
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required
• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• New graduates are encouraged to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care equipment and therapeutic modalities
• Skilled in administering oxygen therapy and aerosolized medications
• Ability to monitor and manage ventilators safely
• Excellent communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills
