Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients in a fast-paced admission unit.
• Manage incoming patient admissions, performing thorough assessments and preparing patients for surgery or transfer.
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry readings, responding quickly to any changes in patient status.
• Coordinate with the healthcare team to ensure smooth patient flow and timely care in a high-turnover environment.
• Communicate clearly and effectively with patients, families, and colleagues to promote safety and positive outcomes.
• Work independently, prioritize tasks, and adapt to rapidly changing patient needs.

Qualifications

• Active and unencumbered RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in a Medical-Surgical or Telemetry specialty.
• Nursys license verification and a clean work history with no gaps greater than 60 days.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.
• Up-to-date resume, skills checklist, references, and certification card available for submission.
