Shift Type: Wednesday-Saturday, 4x10-hour Grave Shift (overnight); weekend requirement every Friday/Saturday; on-call 3-5 shifts per month

Hours per Week: 50

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT scans using Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis equipment
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging, including bariatric patients, ensuring safety and comfort
  • Administer contrast material via venipuncture and monitor patients for adverse reactions
  • Collaborate with board-certified radiologists to ensure accurate diagnostic images
  • Maintain equipment and follow radiation safety protocols in a Level I trauma environment
  • Document patient history and imaging procedures accurately while delivering compassionate care

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 12 months of recent CT experience
  • Hands-on experience with Canon Aquilion Prime, Toshiba Aquilion One, and Aquilion 1 Genesis equipment
  • Active ARRT (CT) certification
  • Active California CRT license
  • Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
  • Venipuncture certificate
  • Recent Level 1 Trauma facility experience within the past 6 months (1 year preferred)

Knowledge & Skills

  • Strong understanding of CT imaging protocols, 3D imaging, and coronary screening
  • Skill in venipuncture and contrast administration
  • Knowledge of radiation safety and ACR accreditation standards
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative medical imaging team
  • Comfortable working night shifts, weekends, and on-call rotations
