Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during procedures, ensuring young patients feel comfortable and safe
• Prepare examination rooms and sterilize dental instruments to maintain a clean, organized environment
• Take and develop dental X-rays while following safety protocols
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain patient records and assist with scheduling appointments
• Provide exceptional chairside support to enhance the patient experience

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent training
• Radiology (X-ray) certification preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work evenings from 12:30 PM to 10:00 PM

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and terminology
• Proficiency in dental software for patient records and scheduling
• Excellent bedside manner with children
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask
• Teamwork and collaboration in a fast-paced environment
