Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during procedures, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow
• Build rapport with young patients to make dental visits fun and anxiety-free
• Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintaining a spotless and safe clinical environment
• Take dental X-rays with care and precision for accurate diagnostics
• Educate children and parents on oral hygiene and preventive care
• Manage patient records and schedule appointments with a friendly touch

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
• Current CPR certification
• Radiography/X-ray certification or willingness to obtain it
• Experience working with children in a dental or healthcare setting is a plus
• Excellent communication skills and a caring, patient demeanor

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization techniques
• Familiarity with dental software and patient management systems
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work compassionately with children and anxious patients
