Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional dental hygiene care including cleanings and prophylaxis
• Assist dentists during exams and procedures to ensure smooth patient flow
• Educate patients on oral health and preventive care techniques
• Take and develop dental x-rays with precision and care
• Document patient histories and treatment plans accurately
• Sterilize and prepare dental instruments and equipment thoroughly
• Apply fluoride treatments and sealants to protect patients' teeth
• Conduct oral health assessments to identify potential issues early

Qualifications

• Current Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• CPR/BLS certification
• Experience in dental hygiene with excellent clinical skills
• Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental hygiene techniques and procedures
• Radiography certification and ability to take x-rays
• Knowledge of infection control and sterilization standards
• Familiarity with dental software for patient records
• Patient education expertise in oral hygiene and preventive care
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills
