Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists during exams and procedures, ensuring a gentle and positive experience for children
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and treatment areas to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
• Take and process dental X-rays with care and precision
• Educate patients and parents on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment instructions
• Maintain accurate patient records and support smooth office workflow

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or state licensure as required by Wisconsin
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Previous experience in a dental office, especially with pediatric patients, is a plus
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach with excellent communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency in taking dental X-rays and using dental practice management software
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Ability to connect with children and families to ease dental anxiety
