Roles & Responsibilities

• Welcome children and parents with a warm, friendly smile
• Assist the dentist chairside during pediatric dental procedures
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and operatories
• Take digital dental x-rays with patient comfort in mind
• Provide gentle, encouraging care to help kids feel at ease
• Educate families on proper oral hygiene and post-op care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Assistant certification or licensure in Wisconsin (or ability to obtain)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Pediatric dental experience is a big plus
• Excellent people skills and a positive, patient attitude
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of chairside assisting and dental procedures
• Familiarity with dental sterilization and infection control protocols
• Proficiency with dental practice management software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities
