Roles & Responsibilities

• Lead the unit as charge nurse, ensuring smooth operations and quality care
• Administer medications accurately and safely to residents
• Provide expert wound care and monitor healing progress
• Collaborate with the care team, including PT and social work, to support resident well-being
• Document care using Matrix EMR and maintain compliance with LTC regulations

Qualifications

• Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care
• Strong skills in medication administration and wound care
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
• Must live outside the 50-mile radius and not be employed by CommonSpirit facilities

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in medication administration and dosage calculations
• Wound care assessment and treatment
• Charge nurse leadership and team coordination
• Knowledge of LTC regulations and EMR systems (Matrix)
• Compassionate care for residents with heart disease, diabetes, and dementia
