Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional dental hygiene care to patients of all ages
- Perform thorough cleanings and oral health assessments
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
- Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and treatments
- Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with infection control standards
Qualifications
- Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program
- Excellent clinical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and patient interaction skills
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and instruments
- Proficiency with dental software and patient record keeping
- Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Compassionate approach to patient care
