Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with patient exams and procedures
• Prepare patients for orthodontic treatments and ensure comfort
• Take and process digital X-rays and dental impressions
• Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
• Educate patients on orthodontic care and appliance maintenance
• Manage patient records and update treatment plans

Qualifications

• Completion of a dental assisting program and/or relevant certification
• Experience in orthodontic assisting is a plus
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Radiography (X-ray) certification as required by state
• Compassionate and patient-focused attitude

Knowledge & Skills

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of dental terminology and orthodontic procedures
• Familiarity with dental software (Denticon experience is a bonus)
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment
