Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment
• Monitor and interpret telemetry strips, EKGs, and hemodynamic data
• Administer and titrate critical care drips such as pressors, sedatives, and anti-arrhythmics
• Manage ventilators and assist with weaning and troubleshooting
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of intensivists, nurses, and respiratory therapists
• Float to PCU and other units as needed, supporting the critical care service line

Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent ICU experience required
• Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• Must pass a dysrhythmia exam with an 80% or higher (two attempts)
• Experience with critical care drips, ventilator management, and ABG interpretation required
• Experience with IABP, CRRT (Prismaflex), and EVD preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in EKG and ABG interpretation
• Skilled in titrating vasopressors, paralytics, and sedatives
• Comfortable with ventilator management and troubleshooting
• Knowledge of telemetry monitoring and critical care equipment (e.g., Swan-Ganz, arterial lines)
• Familiarity with Cerner EHR system
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
