Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist oral surgeons during surgical procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow
• Prepare and maintain the surgical suite, including sterilizing and organizing instruments
• Take and develop dental X-rays for diagnostic purposes
• Provide compassionate patient care and comfort before, during, and after procedures
• Manage patient records and support documentation tasks accurately
• Uphold strict infection control and safety standards at all times

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification (e.g., DANB) preferred
• CPR/BLS certification required
• Experience in oral surgery or surgical assisting is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, procedure-oriented environment
• Excellent communication and patient interaction skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of dental surgical terminology and procedures
• Familiarity with surgical instruments and sterilization protocols
• Proficiency in dental software and digital X-ray equipment
• Working knowledge of infection control and OSHA guidelines
