Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement therapy interventions precisely as outlined in the OT plan of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely to support continuity of care
• Teach patients and families strategies to enhance independence and quality of life
• Communicate patient status and observations clearly to the supervising OT
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to ensure a secure environment

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active state COTA license or ability to obtain one before start
• Strong teamwork skills with a compassionate, patient-centered approach

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Sound knowledge of occupational therapy principles and interventions
• Proficiency in patient education and family support
• Excellent documentation habits with attention to detail
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
• Empathetic patient care with a collaborative spirit
