Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist orthodontists with procedures and treatments
• Prepare and maintain operatory rooms and instruments
• Take and process dental radiographs (X-rays)
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
• Document patient records accurately using Denticon

Qualifications

• Must be orthodontic certified
• Experience with Denticon software
• Active dental assistant certification or license in Maryland
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and instruments
• Proficiency in Denticon practice management software
• Sterilization and infection control best practices
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Compassionate patient care approach
