Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and treat patients with compassion and expertise
• Develop individualized treatment plans that restore function and mobility
• Document accurately and timely to ensure continuity of care
• Supervise PTAs and Rehab Techs, guiding them to provide excellent care
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and families for the best outcomes
• Maintain compliance with safety, infection control, and regulatory standards

Qualifications

• Graduate of an APTA-accredited Physical Therapy program (DPT/MSPT/BSPT)
• Active Virginia PT license or ability to obtain one before start
• Strong communication, documentation, and clinical skills
• Flexibility to adapt to varying facilities, schedules, and patient needs

Education

• Doctorate, Master's, or Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA-accredited program

Knowledge & Skills

• Physical therapy evaluation and treatment planning
• Patient care and education with a patient-first approach
• Accurate and timely documentation
• Excellent communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
• Supervision of support staff to ensure high-quality care
• Knowledge of safety, infection control, and regulatory compliance
