Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to a diverse patient population
• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the healthcare team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on health management and discharge planning

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license in Louisiana (or compact license)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Previous Med/Surg experience preferred, but new graduates are welcome to apply
• Strong critical thinking, communication, and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of evidence-based nursing practices and standards
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic healthcare environment
• Excellent patient education and advocacy skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
