Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing setting
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and monitor patient responses
• Collaborate with the care team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes with precision
• Educate patients and families to support their health and well-being
• Maintain a safe, clean, and therapeutic environment for everyone

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted RN license in the state of Maine (or compact license where accepted)
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption per facility policy
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• New graduates and experienced nurses are both encouraged to apply

• Medication administration and dosage calculations
• Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
• Care planning and documentation in electronic health records
• Wound care and infection control practices
• Interdisciplinary collaboration and patient advocacy
• Compassionate communication with patients and families
