Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality respiratory therapy care to pediatric patients
• Assess patient respiratory status and implement appropriate treatment plans
• Administer respiratory treatments, therapies, and diagnostic procedures
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
• Monitor and document patient responses to treatments and adjust as needed
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home management

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license
• BLS certification required
• Previous respiratory therapy experience preferred, especially in pediatric or hospital settings
• Compassionate, detail-oriented, and able to adapt to changing patient needs

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and critical thinking skills
• Proficiency with respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
• Commitment to providing family-centered care
