Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate and attentive care to residents at Gettysburg Center
• Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility
• Monitor and report vital signs and changes in patient condition to the nursing team
• Document care provided and maintain accurate records
• Ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

Qualifications

• Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania
• Ability to provide state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable attitude
• Physical ability to assist with patient lifting and transfers
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Caring for residents with empathy and professionalism
• Understanding of infection control and safety protocols
• Basic vital sign monitoring and documentation
• Team collaboration and clear communication
• Adaptability and willingness to help where needed
