Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate bedside care to residents, monitoring vital signs and overall well-being
• Administer medications accurately and document all treatments promptly
• Collaborate with nurses, physicians, and other team members to implement individualized care plans
• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and feeding
• Advocate for residents' comfort, dignity, and quality of life at every opportunity

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in Maine (or compact license accepted)
• Current BLS certification
• At least one year of recent LPN experience in a long-term care or skilled nursing setting
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
• Completion of COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR)
• Knowledge of state and federal nursing regulations
• Team collaboration abilities
• Compassionate patient-centered care approach
• Time management and organization skills
