Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) - Acute Care
Location: Broken Arrow, Oklahoma
Start Date: 09-05-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible per diem schedule, 12.5-hour shifts (specific times vary based on facility needs)
Hours per Week: 36
Candidate Pay Rate: $21 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and eating
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes to nursing staff promptly
- Support patient mobility and safe transfers
- Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients
- Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner
- Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support
- Collaborate with nurses and therapists to deliver high-quality care
Qualifications
- Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Oklahoma
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts in an acute care setting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable
- Previous acute care or hospital experience preferred
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of basic patient care principles and safety protocols
- Skilled in taking and recording vital signs
- Ability to respond calmly and effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation
- Team player with a positive attitude
