Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
• Monitor patient vitals, symptoms, and progress, communicating changes to the care team
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and update individualized care plans
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes with precision
• Educate patients and families on health conditions, recovery, and discharge planning
• Maintain a safe, calm, and supportive environment for patients and coworkers

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Maine or a compact state
• Current BLS certification from AHA or equivalent
• COVID-19 vaccination or valid exemption required
• Experience in skilled nursing, long-term care, or rehabilitation is a plus
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work collaboratively
• Must bring state or federal issued identification and wear a photo badge at all times

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and documentation
• Compassionate, patient-first attitude
• Ability to work overnight shifts and maintain energy and focus
• Team-oriented mindset with adaptability to different facility protocols
