Candidate Pay Rate: $20 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate direct patient care, including assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
  • Take and record vital signs, and report changes in patient condition to the nursing team
  • Assist with patient mobility, positioning, and transfers to ensure safety and comfort
  • Support patients with meals, fluid intake, and nutritional needs
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment
  • Document care provided and communicate effectively with the healthcare team

Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in Pennsylvania (or compact state if applicable)
  • Current CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Previous experience in a healthcare setting is a plus, but new graduates are encouraged to apply
  • Ability to lift and transfer patients and stand for long periods
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

  • Knowledge of basic patient care principles and infection control practices
  • Skill in using electronic health records (EHR) and documenting care
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine passion for helping others
  • Time management and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality
