Roles & Responsibilities

• Manage patient care from admission through pre/post care to discharge with confidence and compassion
• Assess patient needs, identify problems, and develop personalized plans of care
• Implement nursing interventions and continuously evaluate patient progress, adjusting plans as needed
• Provide expert care for high-risk pregnancies, including preterm labor, hypertension, diabetes, VBAC, and prenatal testing
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes for mothers and babies
• Educate patients and families on childbirth, newborn care, and recovery

Qualifications

• 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery / OB experience (required)
• Active New Hampshire RN license or compact license (required)
• Current BLS (AHA), AWHONN, and NRP certifications (required)
• Fetal monitoring experience (required)
• Previous travel experience (highly preferred)
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius from the facility (no locals)

Knowledge & Skills

• Deep understanding of the nursing process and evidence-based care
• Skilled in patient assessment, care planning, and discharge planning
• Proficient in fetal monitoring and interpretation
• Expert in high-risk pregnancy management and interventions
• Strong communication and patient education abilities
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and teams
