Roles & Responsibilities
- Assist orthodontists during procedures to ensure smooth patient care
- Prepare patients for treatment and help them feel comfortable and informed
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
- Sterilize and organize instruments to maintain a safe and efficient environment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care
- Document patient information accurately using Denticon software
Qualifications
- Orthodontic Certification required (must be ortho certified)
- Experience with Denticon software preferred
- Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced dental environment
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and equipment
- Skill in taking dental X-rays with proper safety protocols
- Excellent patient communication and bedside manner
- Strong attention to detail for accurate charting and records
- Team collaboration and adaptability
