Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and polishing
• Take and develop dental X-rays to support accurate diagnosis
• Assess patients oral health and report findings to the dentist
• Educate patients on personalized oral hygiene techniques and preventive care
• Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure a sterile, welcoming operatory
• Partner with the dental team to deliver compassionate, high-quality care

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Graduate of an accredited dental hygiene program
• Strong patient communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with the dental team

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental prophylaxis, scaling, and root planing
• Proficiency in taking digital and traditional radiographs
• Understanding of infection control and OSHA standards
• Skill in patient education and chairside communication
• Familiarity with dental practice management software
