Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist pediatric dentists with procedures and treatments
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Take and develop dental x-rays as needed
• Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment

Qualifications

• Valid Dental Assistant certification or license (as per state requirements)
• Previous experience in a dental office, preferably pediatric
• Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• CPR/BLS certification preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology
• Proficiency with dental software and patient records
• Excellent communication and patient care skills
• Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities
• Empathy and patience when working with children
