Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the dentist during pediatric dental procedures, ensuring a comfortable and friendly environment for young patients.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment, maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
• Take and develop dental X-rays, helping to identify oral health issues early.
• Educate children and parents on proper oral hygiene practices in a fun and approachable way.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment scheduling with a caring touch.

Qualifications

• Current Dental Assistant certification or willing to obtain
• X-ray certification required
• Experience working with children is a plus
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of dental instruments and infection control protocols
• Skilled in patient care and chairside assistance
• Proficient in dental software for scheduling and records
• Strong interpersonal skills to connect with kids and parents
