Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time, 3x12 hour night shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate labor and delivery care including mother recovery and newborn transition
Perform newborn assessments and stabilization
Manage high-risk situations like shoulder dystocia and postpartum hemorrhage
Assist with inductions using Pitocin and Cervidil
Monitor fetal heart rates and respond to OB emergencies
Support C-sections, circumcisions and assisted deliveries
Deliver exceptional patient experience through daily rounding

Qualifications

RN license in good standing
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
BLS certification
NRP certification
Fetal Monitoring training

Education

Associate or Bachelor's degree in Nursing

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in labor, delivery, recovery and newborn care
Proficiency in fetal monitoring and OB emergency response
Experience with inductions and high-acuity deliveries
Comfortable in a fast-paced LDRP unit with couplet care
