Shift Type: Night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM with minimum 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care to critically ill patients in a 16-bed neuro ICU
Manage advanced equipment like ventilators, CRRT, and EVDs with confidence
Perform critical procedures including central lines, arterial lines, and chest tubes
Collaborate with a dedicated team including unit secretaries and techs
Float as needed to support med/surg when the team calls
Provide attentive patient and family experiences that make a real difference

Qualifications

Active RN license ready to go
ACLS and BLS certifications
At least 2 years of ICU experience
Comfortable in high-acuity environments with patient ratios of 1:1 to 3:1

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise with Meditech documentation system
Proficiency in ventilators, EVDs, CRRT, SLED, and EV 1000
Skills in central line insertions, arterial lines, lumbar punctures, and chest tubes
Strong critical thinking for neuro ICU patients
