Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, 36 guaranteed hours per week, rotating weekends

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert emergency care in a fast-paced 11-bed ER
Master ESI triage to prioritize the most critical patients
Assist with life-saving procedures like chest tubes and central lines
Champion STEMI and stroke protocols for optimal outcomes
Maintain 1:4 patient ratios while floating as needed
Utilize AIDET and communication boards to exceed patient experience goals

Qualifications

Active TX RN license (no temp licenses accepted)
At least 2.5 years of recent ED experience
BLS, ACLS, TNCC certifications required
PALS or ENPC certification
Excellent time management skills for high-pressure environments

Education

RN licensure with relevant emergency department experience

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Meditech documentation system
Splinting and lumbar puncture procedures
Strong patient communication using AIDET
Time management in busy emergency settings
