Shift Type: Day Shift Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM with call coverage after 3:00 PM and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care during open heart surgeries like CABG, valve replacements, and ECMO procedures
Collaborate with a tight-knit team of 4 RNs and 4 techs in a 1:1 patient ratio environment
Master cardiothoracic service line while floating to other ORs for trauma, ortho, neuro, and more
Utilize standard OR equipment and Meditech EMR to ensure seamless, life-saving operations
Respond to call with dependability, making a real difference in high-stakes moments

Qualifications

Active RN license with at least 1 year of experience
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Must-have expertise in open heart and cardiothoracic procedures
Flexible and dependable personality that thrives in dynamic OR settings

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in open heart surgeries including CABG with/without EVH, Impellas, and valve replacements
Proficiency across service lines like trauma, general, gyn, uro, ortho, neuro, and plastics
Strong OR skills with standard equipment and Meditech EMR
Team player ready for call coverage and floating within the OR
