Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Full-time night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, including weekends and one holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert respiratory care to mostly adult patients with occasional pediatric cases
Manage ventilators and bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up in a strong level 2 nursery
Draw ABGs and assist with intubations to support critical patient needs
Set up BiPAP and ventilators while delivering neb treatments and standing by for conscious sedation and cardioversion
Collaborate with a lead therapist on every shift and a 24/7 hospitalist/intensivist team

Qualifications

Active Washington RT License required
RRT or CRT credential accepted
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
Proven NICU experience with strong level 2 nursery skills
Competent with bubble CPAP for neonates 32 weeks and up
Ventilator management expertise essential

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management with PB 980, Philips V60, and Respironics Lumis equipment
Bubble CPAP and BiPAP setup
ABG draws and neb treatments
Conscious sedation and cardioversion standby support
Ability to assist with intubations
