Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver expert respiratory treatments and care to patients battling insufficiencies, asthma, pneumonia, and emphysema
Evaluate patient conditions and provide life-saving interventions in a fast-paced acute care setting
Collaborate with a close-knit team including directors, leads, and on-call staff to optimize patient outcomes
Operate essential equipment like CPAP, BiPAP, nebulizers, and oxygen systems with precision
Contribute to a patient-focused culture in a 12-bed unit with favorable 1:1 or 2:1 ratios

Qualifications

Active RRT credential
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (absolute musts!)
2+ years of current acute care hospital experience as an RRT
ICU experience preferred for those high-acuity moments
Team player mindset with critical thinking skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Meditech EMR system
Skilled in handling oxygen cylinders, concentrators, nebulizers, suction machines, CPAP, and BiPAP
Strong focus on patient care in fast-paced environments
