Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, monitor, and evaluate patients with respiratory disorders
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications per physician orders
• Manage and maintain ventilator support for critically ill patients
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on respiratory care and equipment
• Document patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed

Qualifications

• Active NBRC RRT certification required upon offer
• Active state Respiratory Therapist license
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS or ENPC certifications
• Prior experience in acute care or respiratory therapy setting
• Ability to work night shifts and 36-hour weeks

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong knowledge of respiratory care protocols and ventilator management
• Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
• Compassionate patient care and communication abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
