Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide continuous airway management to patients of all ages – from neonates to adults
• Manage and support ventilator and non-invasive ventilation, including PB 980, PB 840, and V60 ventilators
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and adjust respiratory care plans
• Perform CPR and respond to respiratory emergencies with confidence
• Deliver comprehensive respiratory care across adult, pediatric, and neonatal populations
• Document care using computerized charting systems and manage medications via Pyxis

Qualifications

• Active Hawaii Respiratory Therapy License required by start of assignment
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience (no first-time travelers)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• RRT and NRP certifications preferred
• Must be comfortable caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patients

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in airway management and ventilator support
• Proficiency with non-invasive ventilation and transport ventilators (e.g., Para Pac)
• Experience with computerized charting and Pyxis medication systems
• Strong understanding of respiratory care across all patient populations
• Excellent communication skills for physician consulting and team collaboration
