Roles & Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory treatments and therapies to patients
• Assess patient respiratory status and respond to changes quickly
• Assist in emergency respiratory interventions and airway management
• Educate patients and families about respiratory conditions and care plans
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust treatment plans
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure equipment is ready and safe

Qualifications

• Current Oregon Respiratory Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy
• BLS certification required (ACLS or PALS preferred)
• Prior experience as a respiratory therapist is a plus, but new grads with strong clinical experience are welcome to apply

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of respiratory therapy equipment and techniques
• Skilled in patient assessment and adjusting treatments accordingly
• Excellent communication for patient education and team collaboration
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic clinical environment
• Compassionate approach to caring for pediatric patients
